Most hiccups with your Flush have a quick fix. This guide covers common troubleshooting steps and how to restart or reset your Flush — work through these before anything drastic, and remember we're only a message away.
Quick checks
- Humidity struggling to climb? Check the water reservoir on the right side of the unit — the humidifier needs water to work.
- Readings showing "--"? The unit briefly lost contact with its chamber sensors. It usually recovers on its own; if it persists, restart the unit.
- Flush not connecting to Wi-Fi? Open Settings → Wi-Fi — the unit reconnects to known networks automatically, but you can select the network and press Connect to hurry it along.
- Screen asleep? The display dims into a screensaver after a few minutes idle. A tap wakes it — that's normal, not a fault.
Restarting your Flush
Restarting fixes most odd behaviour. Open Settings → Reset and choose Restart. This reboots the unit while keeping all your settings, Wi-Fi networks, and account pairing. A restart mid-grow is safe — your mushrooms won't mind a minute of downtime.
Factory resetting your Flush
A factory reset (also under Settings → Reset) clears the unit completely — settings, saved Wi-Fi networks, and the account link — and returns it to the first-launch setup. Use it when re-homing your Flush with a new owner or as a last resort if troubleshooting hasn't helped, and expect to set everything up again afterwards.
